Privacy Policy.

This service archives videos you like on YouTube into a Notion database you control. It is operated by Will Wong. Because it acts on your behalf while you are away, it stores a small amount of data about you; this policy explains exactly what, and why.
What we access
When you sign in with Google, you grant access to your own YouTube data via the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl scope. We use it to see which videos you have liked (and any playlists you choose) so we can archive them, and — once a video has been successfully archived — to remove your like from it, so your Liked feed doesn't grow without bound. That like removal is the only change we ever make to your YouTube account; we never touch your videos, comments, subscriptions, or anything else. We also receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google to identify you.
Separately, you provide a Notion integration secret and a database link. We use these to file your archived videos into that database, and for nothing else.
What we store
Unlike a read-only tool, this service needs to run when you are not looking at it, so it keeps:
• A Google refresh token, so the archiver can mint short-lived access tokens on your behalf. It is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it touches our database, and the key never leaves our servers.
• Your Notion secret and database id, the Notion secret likewise encrypted at rest.
• A ledger of archived videos— video id, title, resolution, size, status, and the resulting Notion link — so we don't archive the same video twice and can show you what has run.
• Your name, email, and profile picture.
We do not sell, rent, or share any of this, and we never use it for advertising or to train models. The database is Neon Postgres; the encryption keys live only in our application environment, never in the database and never in logs.
The video files
Archived videos are downloaded only in order to upload them into your Notion database. The working copy on our server is deleted as soon as the upload completes. We keep no copy of the video content ourselves — only the ledger entry describing it.
Cookies
We set two strictly-necessary cookies, neither used for tracking. One holds your encrypted session and identifies you while signed in (it carries a short-lived access token and expires within an hour). The other is a short-lived value used during sign-in to protect against cross-site request forgery, deleted immediately afterwards. There is no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking on this site.
Who we share it with
No one, beyond the processors that make the service run: Vercel hosts the website, Neon hosts the database, and our archiving worker runs on a server we operate. Your archived videos go only to the Notion database you connected. Google is the source of the YouTube data.
Google user data and API Services
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube data is used solely to provide the archiving feature you signed up for.
Retention and your control
We keep your data until you disconnect. You can revoke this application's Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops all archiving. To have your stored credentials and ledger deleted entirely, email hello@williamwong.com and we will remove them.
Changes
If what we store or how we use it changes, this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the date above will change with it.
